Position papers

A position paper outlines policy demands and recommendations. It includes expertise and analysis specific to the stakeholder group submitting it. It is a very powerful tool, which outlines the gaps of the 2030 Agenda, its implementation and recommendations for addressing those gaps.

Major Groups & Other Stakeholders

We are a network of volunteers which mobilises civil society and facilitates their meaningful participation at UN’s review of the 2030 Agenda. In particular, the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development. We are led by a coordination mechanism, with 21 constituencies, which has been officially recognised by Member States. Our work is guided by our core values: uphold human rights, end all discrimination, system change and multilateralism.
