As the 2026 High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) approaches, this webinar will prepare Major Groups and Other Stakeholders (MGoS), and wider civil society participants for meaningful engagement in the HLPF process.
Featuring UN representatives, MGoS constituency representatives, and other partners, the session will provide updates on the political landscape and engagement opportunities at HLPF, and outline interlinkages with implementation of the Pact for the Future and the UN80 Initiative.

Every year ahead of the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF), the MGoS Coordination Mechanism organizes an Orientation to provide newcomers with an overview of the various engagements at the HLPF and their significance as well as opportunities to influence the outcomes, and the MGoS approach and strategies for the engagements. It is also an opportunity for alignment of advocacy missions of the various constituents and collective strategizing on the key political issues.
