Interventions

An intervention is the act of delivering a speech at the UN. This is done during the official sessions or at side events, for example. When you “intervene”, you share concerns, analysis and expertise on an issue. Interventions usually focus on topics that has been omitted by Member States.

Major Groups & Other Stakeholders

We are a network of volunteers which mobilises civil society and facilitates their meaningful participation at UN’s review of the 2030 Agenda. In particular, the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development. We are led by a coordination mechanism, with 21 constituencies, which has been officially recognised by Member States. Our work is guided by our core values: uphold human rights, end all discrimination, system change and multilateralism.
