- The role of partnerships and collaboration: Several papers highlight the importance of partnerships and collaboration among different stakeholders, including governments, civil society, the private sector, and academia, in achieving the SDGs.
- The importance of data and monitoring: Many of the papers stress the need for improved data collection and monitoring to better track progress toward the SDGs and to inform evidence-based decision-making.
- The need for transformative change: A number of the papers argue that achieving the SDGs will require transformative change in economic, social, and environmental systems, and call for bold and ambitious actions by all actors.
- The importance of leaving no one behind: Several papers emphasize the need to address inequalities and to ensure that the benefits of sustainable development are shared by all, particularly marginalized and disproportionately affected groups.
