As the world navigates an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape, the road to the UN Summit of the Future has been both challenging and crucial. The outcome document, the Pact for the Future, offers renewed opportunities to strengthen multilateralism and address urgent global challenges. However, these ambitions will only be realized through concrete action and adequate funding.

In response, the Workers & Trade Union Major Group has issued a position on the Pact for the Future, welcoming its commitments to decent work, social protection, human rights, and gender equality, but urging governments to deliver on these promises with urgency and sustained resources.
